Episode 003: Sexual Awakenings, Acknowledging Our Shadows and Being Responsible For Our Triggers with Amy White

There’s so much pressure to show up as our best selves and be the brightest person in the room nowadays but is that what truly makes us whole? I’m joined by Amy White this week where we have such a potent and refreshing conversation on what it really means to show up for ourselves without being co-dependent on others as well as harnessing the power of our sensual abilities to have a content sense of self.

Amy is a trauma-informed, somatic sexual healing coach with expertise in tantric energy work and the sacred feminine arts. We get straight into Amy’s first sexual awakening which led her to a world of even more life-changing awakenings where she was able to connect to her inner sexual energy and learn the importance of taking responsibility whilst simultaneously allowing herself to make mistakes. We also touch on the dark sides of practitioners and teachers always being pressured to appear perfect and full of light which can lead to a lack of awareness of their shadows therefore negatively impacting their work and their students unknowingly.

Our conversation is filled with deep insights about being connected to our wholeness, respecting our boundaries (including others’ boundaries!) and how it’s not always necessary to show up as all of ourselves every single time. Lot’s of juicy stuff to digest in this one.
